What it is

A technique selected for the individual.

This page describes dry cupping. Cups create temporary suction over the skin and superficial tissues. Circular marks can occur and usually fade gradually. Cupping is selected according to the area involved, skin condition and the patient’s medical history.

Safety first
Cupping is avoided over broken or infected skin, active inflammation, fragile skin and some vascular conditions. Anticoagulant use, bleeding disorders and easy bruising require specific assessment. Marks are not proof that toxins were removed.
What to expect

A calm, supervised session.

Skin and medical-history safety check
Placement of clean cups over selected muscles
Short, monitored application with controlled suction
Removal, skin inspection and aftercare advice
When it may be considered

Supportive uses after assessment.

Muscular tightness and stiffness
Back, neck or shoulder discomfort
Recovery support after physical strain
Adjunctive mobility-focused care

Not every modality is right for every patient.

A consultation determines clinical suitability, treatment combination and expected review points. Results vary.
