Treatment method
Ear Acupuncture
Fine needles or small ear seeds stimulate selected points on the outer ear as an adjunct to a broader plan.
Ask whether it suits you
What it is
A technique selected for the individual.
Also called auricular acupuncture, this method uses the outer ear as a compact treatment area. It may be combined with body acupuncture when clinically appropriate. Ear seeds may sometimes be used between visits with clear instructions for safe pressure and removal.
Safety first
Ear acupuncture is not applied through infected, inflamed or damaged skin. Persistent pain, swelling, discharge or skin reaction requires removal and clinical review. Addiction treatment should remain coordinated with evidence-based medical and psychological care.
