Treatment method
Scalp Acupuncture
A specialised technique using fine needles in defined areas of the scalp as part of an assessment-led care plan.
Ask whether it suits you
What it is
A technique selected for the individual.
Scalp acupuncture is generally used as an adjunct for selected neurological, pain or functional concerns. The technique requires precise point selection and should be coordinated with medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, rehabilitation or other indicated care.
Safety first
Sudden weakness, facial droop, speech difficulty, severe headache or loss of balance requires emergency assessment—not an acupuncture appointment. Scalp needling is avoided over infection, wounds or unsafe skin conditions.
